Carolien Brederije (1971) has been a lawyer since 1996. As of 2009 she is a partner at Valegis Advocaten. Before joining Valegis Advocaten, Carolien was a partner at one of the larger Dutch law firms.
Carolien advises entrepreneurs, companies of all sorts and non profit institutions on employment law, participation law and civil servants law. She also regularly acts on behalf of individuals (among which managing directors and majority shareholders).
In 2004 Carolien graduated cum laude from the PALA (an in-depth Post Academic course in Employment Law) at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam. She is a member of several Associations , for instance the VAAN (Association for Employment Lawyers) and the VvA (Association for Employment Law). Carolien is active in various networks of (female) entrepreneurs, both domestic and international. Carolien is regularly invited to speak at seminars and meetings and she volunteers at various boards.
