Daphne Jerphanion studied Dutch law at Erasmus University Rotterdam and after graduating in 2011 she worked as a lawyer at one of the largest law firms in the Netherlands. There she advised and litigated in the fields of contract law, employment law and corporate law in the broadest sense of the word.
Daphne joined Valegis Advocaten in January 2017. At Valegis, she focuses on corporate law in general and contract law in particular. She advises national and international clients on drafting, adapting and negotiating all kinds of (commercial) contracts, including franchise, distribution, delivery and (sub)contracting agreements. Daphne is also involved in all aspects of M&A deals: from setting up an ideal structure to drafting and negotiating contract documentation and due diligence.
In December 2019, Daphne successfully completed the postgraduate specialisation course in National and International Contracting at the Grotius Academy.
Daphne holds the CIPP/E (Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe) certificate and she is a member of the Vereniging Privacyrecht and the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
