Rigje Rosier graduated in Amsterdam in 2010 (master’s degree in labour law). She subsequently worked as an attorney at various employment law niche firms in Rotterdam. Rigje has been working for Valegis Advocaten since February 2020.

Her work consists of advising and assisting both employers and employees on all employment law issues. Think not only of dismissal cases, but also of all kinds of collective labour agreement issues, situations of transfer of undertaking, competition cases, reorganisations, etc. Rigje also advises employees and employers on social security law. Usually it concerns issues that border on labour law, such as the imposition of wage sanctions by the UWV and requests for the reduction thereof, the assessment of the right to WIA benefits and the obligations of the self-insurer.

Rigje successfully completed the Grotius employment law specialist course at the end of 2016. She is a member of the Vereniging Arbeidsrecht Advocaten Nederland (VAAN) and the Vereniging Haagse Arbeidsrecht Advocaten (VHAA).
