After a yearlong career at the judiciary, Thijs Kroese has been a lawyer for several years, including a previous period at Valegis. After that he has been a deputy mayor for five years. Being responsible for housing, real estate and special planning, Thijs has built great expertise in project development, construction and real estate law. Because Thijs was very active in the Metropolitan Area Amsterdam (MRA), he has built a strong network both in local governments and amongst developers.

With his specialized knowledge in these areas he will strengthen Valegis as Of Counsel in specific matters relating to real estate law. He will be advising clients on both a legal as a strategic level.
